About Dr. Rutland
Dr. Mark Rutland is the third President of Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is a distinguished author, educator, charismatic leader, businessman and a nationally recognized figure in Christian higher education. Prior to his election as President of Oral Roberts University, Rutland served as the President of Southeastern University of the Assemblies of God in Lakeland, Florida, from 1999 to 2009. Additionally he has served as Pastor of Calvary Assembly of God in Orlando, Florida, and as an Associate Pastor at Mount Paran Church of God in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Rutland also currently serves as president of Global Servants. Through Global Servants, Dr. Rutland has founded ministries in Ghana and Thailand. The House of Grace home for tribal girls in Chiang Rai, Thailand, was founded in 1988 and houses over 100 girls. Dr. Rutland and his wife, Alison, have one son, two daughters, four grandsons, and two granddaughters. |
